Continental Resources, Inc. (ConRes) and its corporate affiliates are committed to taking reasonable steps necessary to protect your privacy. ConRes may in the course of business collect personal data that is voluntarily provided by you at our web site. (ConRes). ConRes normally only requests limited business-related personal data, such as name, title, company address, email address, and telephone and fax numbers, and other information necessary to respond to your request. Sensitive Personal Data
ConRes’s intention is not to seek any sensitive personal data through our web site. Sensitive personal data includes a number of types of data relating to: race or ethnic origin; political opinions; religious or other similar beliefs; trade union membership; physical or mental health; sexual life or criminal record. We suggest that you do not provide sensitive data of this nature, unless as part of an employment application. ConRes’s accountability for DATA that it receives under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfers to a third party is further described in the Privacy Shield Principles https://www.privacyshield.gov. Specifically, ConRes is responsible and liable under the Privacy Shield Principles if any third-party agents that it engages to process the DATA on its behalf do so in a manner inconsistent with the Privacy Shield Principles, unless ConRes proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
Sale of business assets
In the unlikely event of a sale of ConRes, a ConRes business unit, or a ConRes affiliate, personal information held by ConRes may be made available to a buyer or prospective buyers in order for them to evaluate any such purchase or to operate any parts of ConRes’s business.
